To reach the airport from Marsa Alam city center by car, take the El-Quseir-Marsa Alam road (Road 85) and head north. After about 5 km you can see the signs “Marsa Alam Airport”. Proceed towards the Hurghada-Aswan highway (Road 70). Drive for about 60 km, keeping the Red Sea coast on your left. There are gas stations on the road in both directions and this road will take you to Marsa Alam Airport.
After about 50 km you will start to see “Marsa Alam Airport” signs on the side of the road. Follow the signs carefully so as not to miss the last exit. Turn right following the signs. If you are using GPS, select “Marsa Alam International Airport (RMF)” as your destination. Travel time is 50-60 minutes depending on the traffic density.
